ASBCB Governing Council Elections – 2010
We hereby
invite nominations for candidates to serve on the ASBCB
Governing council as set about in the ASBCB constitution
and by-laws:
6 Governance
6.1 The Society shall be governed by the Governing
Council that shall be constituted as provided for in the
By-Laws.
6.2 The Council shall be elected by secret vote as
set out in the By-Laws.
6.3 The Council shall elect from among its members a
President and other office-bearers as provided for in
the By-Laws.
B 2.2 Candidates for election to the Council must be
nominated and seconded by members in writing and must
signify their willingness to stand.
The
Nominator, Seconder as well as Nominee (candidate) must
be ASBCB members in good standing.
Please
forward nominations using the nomination form to
nominate@asbcb.org on or before 26 February 2010.
The
names of the nominated candidates will be posted on the
ASBCB website and an online vote will take place from
1 to 30 March 2010 on the ASBCB website (Members
section).
